Nancy Horwick’s art exhibit opens at City Hall.
The upcoming featured artist at City Hall is celebrated local painter and collagist Nancy Horwick. Selected by the city of Ojai Arts Commission Gallery Committee for her exquisite technique, and the harmony and quiet, meditative intensity of her work, she will be displaying an outstanding collection of oil paintings entitled “Recollections: Near and Far” for the next two months.

It's a new year and a new decade but all the things you love about the free 3rd Friday event downtown Ojai — Jan. 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. — remain the same. And that's a good thing, right? Free admission at the Ojai Valley Museum. Wonderful exhibitions. Plus music by Licity Collins, thanks to the Ojai Music Festival's Bravo! program.

Ojai Youth Entertainers Studio will present “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.” Jan. 17 through Feb. 9 at the Ojai Youth Entertainers Studio, located on the Ojai Valley Community Church Campus at 907 El Centro St. in Ojai.
Youth performances will be held Fridays at 6 p.m.; Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.; Sundays at 2 p.m.
