Murals as public art have been a means of expression of humankind since the time of cavemen. In many cities around the world, main attractions are their historic painted or mosaic murals, such as the five painted towns in Italy, including Murales di Dozza. Public art is inspiring for its craft, form, detail, expression and the story/history it conveys and the interaction the work has with its environmental setting.
